As follows are the Terms and Conditions of Business for Writing Excellence.

Services

Writing Excellence provides courses to teach writing based on the Institute for Excellence in Writing’s (‘IEW’) methodology. These courses will delivered online or physically in a classroom.

Writing Excellence’s teacher(s) are IEW-accredited Registered Instructor(s), but in no way is the organisation or teachers legally connected or associated with Institute for Excellence in Writing.

Writing Excellence’s services and offerings are subject change without notice, and it does not accept any liability for such changes.

Prices

Prices published on the Writing Excellence website are subject to change without notice.

Quoted prices expire after 30 days.

GST

Writing Excellence is not registered for GST, so no GST is included in the course fees.

Payment

Payment of the course’s fees must be received into Writing Excellence’s bank account at least 2 weeks before the course starts.

Warranties and Limit of Liability

Whilst Writing Excellence believes in the methodology it follows to teach writing, it does not warrant if and/or to what extent a student’s writing will improve. Writing Excellence does not accept any liability arising out of or connection with the lack of a student’s improvement or any other matter in connection with Writing Excellence’s teaching or course content.

Writing Excellence does not accept any liability arising from the student’s inability to connect to an online class or attend a physical class.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions of Business are governed by New Zealand Law. Any disputes which need to be settled in a court of law will be conducted exclusively in New Zealand Courts and/or within the framework of the New Zealand justice system.
